Building information modelling (BIM) is a process of collecting and creating a digital representation of a structure. The output of this is a Building Information Model, which can then be used by our clients to interpret the data and make strategic decisions.

The adoption of 3D Laser Scanning within architectural work flows has led to an ever-increasing need for an efficient method of transforming highly detailed 3D Laser Scan survey into intelligent models, suitable for implementation in BIM work flows.
BIM data can be used to illustrate the entire lifecycle of a structure. It details design to demolition where a user can visualise space and objects in order to minimise error throughout the duration of a project.
Veris provides full 3D inspection and close range Metrology services using a wide range of technologies for very high accurate industrial measurement and 3D modelling. Utilising white light scanning, hard probing and laser tracking we can scan, model and reverse engineer mechanical parts and components for a range of sectors.
Where fully intelligent models are not required such as detailed heritage facades, Veris' inhouse CAD designers excel at extracting highly detailed models from 3D scan data for heritage documentation and digital archive purposes.
