Dr Michael Shirley has over 28 years of industry experience, leading and engaging complex teams whilst delivering business growth and strong commercial outcomes. Dr Shirley has worked across the natural resources, environment, water, buildings and infrastructure sectors across Australia and globally.
Michael has held senior executive roles for leading organisations including; Sinclair Knight Merz, Jacobs and most recently Aurecon where he was the Managing Director Clients. Michael has a demonstrated track record of strategic and operational leadership, delivering outstanding long-term business growth.
Adam Lamond, Executive Director – Corporate & Strategy
Adam Lamond has over 20 years’ commercial experience with particular expertise in construction and infrastructure activities across Australia.
Mr Lamond founded Ocean to Outback Electrical (OTOE) in 2003, a WA-based contracting business servicing the mining industry and the forerunner to Veris Limited. Mr Lamond engineered a reverse takeover of ASX listed company Emerson Stewart Group in 2011 resulting in the listing of Ocean to Outback Contracting (OTOC) Limited.
Mr Lamond held the position of Chief Executive Officer of OTOC Limited from 2011 to 2014. Mr Lamond then held the position of Executive Director - Business Development from 2014 to 2017, after which time he was appointed Managing Director of the newly branded Veris Limited.
Mr Lamond has overseen the implementation of a national operating model which has involved transitioning and integrating all businesses into one entity and continues to build a cohesive brand and culture.
Steve Harding, Chief Financial Officer
Steve is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of finance and corporate advisory experience including having held senior leadership roles with professional services and advisory firms PwC and KPMG.
Steve has a strong track record in corporate finance including significant capital markets, merger and acquisition transaction advisory and debt arranging experience in the mid-cap industrials sectors.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Ron Pettit, Executive Manager - People and Culture
Mr Pettit is a strategic and commercially aware human resources professional who positively shapes and influences teams and cultures. He has experience in talent identification, succession planning, developing new business models and advising senior executives on strategy. He has a strong focus on continuous improvement, building teams and leadership development.
In 2012, Mr Pettit was awarded the National Human Resources Manager of the Year Award in Australia. He was also a finalist across Australasia in the APAC Conscious Business Leadership Awards in 2016 and has been a guest speaker at the HR Summit over many years.
Mr Ron Pettit has over 20 years' experience in human resource roles in the resources, mining, telecommunications, engineering and construction sectors.
Lisa Wynne, Company Secretary and Head of Commercial
Ms Lisa Wynne is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary with significant experience across the commercial sector with particular experience in the finance, accounting, corporate services, urban planning and resources industries across ASX and TSX listed companies.
Former owner of a consulting company, for 11 years, Ms Wynne provided corporate and financial services to public companies and held the role of Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of a number of ASX listed companies.
Travis Young, Chief Executive Officer - Aqura Technologies
Mr Travis Young currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer for Aqura Technologies. Mr Young has over 20 years' experience in the business specialising in business management and project delivery. Mr Young was instrumental in the transformation from a private company to an ASX listed business with Veris Limited.
In his current role, Mr Young is responsible for the lead, development and execution of Aqura Technologies' long term business strategy.
Joshua Bovell, Chief Digital Officer
Mr Joshua Bovell is a results driven technology executive with over 25 years' experience leading complex information systems and communications initiatives, managing operational environments, and executing programs all with an underlying focus on business and economic value.

In his role as Chief Digital Officer, Mr Bovell is responsible to lead the digital transformation strategy to assist the delivery of the Veris business strategy for 2019 - 2024.
