I live and work on my birth country, Whadjuk boodjar where I draw my inspiration and strength from. I am passionate about connecting and sharing my knowledge with others. I spend time teaching my son stories on country and learning contemporary ways of expressing culture.
On my travels throughout Australia I have had the privilege of meeting many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people when living on their country. Through those connections they have enriched my exposure to the cultural diversity that we have in Australia. This is what motivates me to create art pieces that leave a lasting impression and telling its own unique story.
Veris is a member of the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) community. Our initial RAP, Veris Reflect, was created in partnership with Reconciliation Australia and commits to supporting reconciliation within our organisation and in the communities where we work. We recognise that reconciliation is built on mutual respect. To build a diverse and inclusive work culture and to respectfully work in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and peoples, it is important that we have an awareness of our shared history and an appreciation for Australia’s rich cultural legacy

The Indigenous Surveyor Employment Pathway Program offers Indigenous Australians a pathway into the surveying industry.
Established in a collaboration between Veris, Wumara Group, TAFE NSW and the Yarpa NSW Indigenous Business & Employment Hub, the program consists of a combination of study and fieldwork to provide participants with exposure to what it is like to be a surveyor, as well as the foundational skills to start their career in the industry.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants are offered full time employment through traineeships with Wumara Group and Veris.
The Indigenous Surveyor Employment Pathway Program was first conceived as part of the alliance between Wumara Group and Veris.
The alliance aims to help close the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians by creating further training, employment, and economic opportunities for Australia’s First peoples.
Veris uses Supply Nation Certified Indigenous businesses to supply goods and services. We also continue to pursue opportunities to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander supplier diversity in line with our RAP.
