Veris and Cardinia Shire Council Celebrate Success at the 2024 IPWEA Australasia Excellence Awards

Veris and Cardinia Shire Council honoured for using innovative 3D technologies to reduce costs and the environmental impact of road infrastructure at 2024 IPWEA Awards.

Veris and Cardinia Shire Council proudly accepted the Excellence in Project Innovation Award at the 2024 Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) Excellence Awards hosted in Melbourne.

In partnership with Cardinia Shire Council, Veris harnessed the power of advanced 3D technology to support the Council in upgrading their town center and road infrastructure. This pioneering approach not only saved significant construction costs but also protected hundreds of trees, reduced environmental impact, and engaged the community effectively.

Confronted with challenges in the upgrade of their road infrastructure, Cardina identified the necessity for a 3D digital environment to mitigate environmental repercussions and streamline risk management. This project demonstrates how spatial technologies can be deployed to reduce costs and environmental impact.

This outstanding achievement highlights the steadfast commitment of both Veris and Cardinia Shire Council to providing innovative solutions that positively impact their clients and communities.
