Veris awarded gas pipeline contract

Veris Australia has been awarded a contract by APA Group (ASX: APA) to provide surveying and associated services for the new Northern Goldfields Interconnect (NGI) pipeline in Western Australia.

The services will generate over $1.2 million in revenue for Veris Australia and have an expected duration of approximately five months.

The specific scope of services includes centreline, feature, level, cadastral and subsurface surveys for the proposed gas pipeline route.

APA Group, a leading Australian energy infrastructure business, has announced an investment of up to $460 million to construct the new 580 km, 12” pipeline in Western Australia to connect emerging gas fields in the Perth Basin to the resource rich Goldfields region, forming an interconnected WA Gas Grid.

The NGI pipeline is expected to be operational around mid CY2022.

The contract adds to the extensive portfolio of pipeline surveys delivered previously by Veris, with the company well-positioned to leverage its demonstrated experience and capability for future gas pipeline and associated projects across Australia.
