Veris installs monitoring system for metro upgrade

Veris recently installed an automated monitoring system including track and ground control sensors for the Sydenham Metro Upgrade project, part of the Sydney Metro, Australia biggest public transport project.

Working closely with our client, the John Holland Laing O'Rourke Joint Venture, and Sydney Metro, we recommended the technology to measure any track movement, whilst tunnelling works for cabling are occurring under the track.

Our Engineering Survey team in Sydney were on site to successfully complete the installation on time, despite the wet conditions, during the track possession.
