Award winning night for Veris

The Veris Young Professionals Program (YPP) has won the award for Workforce Development and Inclusion at Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence (APSEA) Awards for Victoria.

The YPP bridges the gap between study and work by providing a structured, 12-month development program for early career professionals.

Designed to future-proof participants’ careers, it provides graduates with exposure to all areas of the surveying and spatial industry and expert mentors to offer guidance along the way.

Through rotations, the program gives participants the opportunity to experience working in the Digital & Spatial, Engineering Survey, Property Survey, Urban Design & Town Planning business lines of Veris across multiple industry sectors such as property, infrastructure, building and construction.

At the awards night, Matthew Killick, 3D Modelling and Spatial Specialist at Veris, also won the Undergraduate Student Award.

This award is conferred on a student who has undertaken a research project in the course of their studies that contributes to the ongoing progression of the surveying and spatial profession.
