Veris
Previously OTOC Ltd, the company renamed to Veris in November 2016.
Veris grew from a vision to create a world-class planning, design, surveying and spatial solutions business that could service clients across Australia.
Veris has sought to acquire successful businesses that share the same aspirations, values and culture. The initial phase was the selection and acquisition of quality businesses in each major geographic and economic centre.
Bosco Jonson
Established in 1997, Bosco Jonson is a Melbourne based surveying company with a longstanding reputation for quality. Throughout its history, Bosco Jonson has been a recognised leader in large scale urban and broad-hectare developments. Along the way, Bosco Jonson has acquired a blue-chip, long-term client base including Australand, Parklea, Peet, Stockland, Lend Lease, MAB, Satterley and Salta. Bosco Jonson adopted the Veris name in 2018.
Geo-Metric
Established in 2001, Geo-Metric Surveying specialised in high-end engineering construction (concrete and steel structures), railways, tunnels, roads and bridges, earthworks and customised monitoring projects. Geo-Metric adopted the Veris name in 2016.
LANDdata Surveys
LANDdata Surveys was established in 2006 in Canberra through the merger of two longstanding local surveying businesses. The partners of LANDdata, led by Managing Partner David Sloan, have over 20 years’ experience in the ACT.
LANDdata became Veris in 2018.
Lawrence Group
Established in Sydney in 2003, Lawrence Group grew to become a multi-disciplinary surveying consultancy with expertise in residential and commercial construction, civil infrastructure and land development. Lawrence Group adopted the Veris name in 2016.
Lester Franks
Established over 50 years ago in Devonport, Tasmania in 1964, Lester Franks is among Australia's leading suppliers of land and engineering survey services and providers of its widest range of 3D Scanning, Metrology and CAD design services.
Lester Franks' highly-skilled team of engineers, CAD experts, surveyors, ICT professionals, planners and project managers have extensive experience providing a wide range of sophisticated surveying, engineering and urban planning capabilities on some of Australia's largest infrastructure projects.
Lester Franks became a Veris company in November, 2016 and adopted the Veris name in October, 2017.
Linker Surveying
Established in 1966, Linker Surveying has been one of Sydney’s most respected land surveying firms. Linker Surveying is a leading authority in titling solutions for today’s complicated and multi layered development world, with particular expertise in strata and stratum subdivision works. Linker Surveying adopted the Veris name in December 2017.
THG Resource Strategists
Over 40 years, THG Resource Strategists built a reputation as Queensland’s planning and surveying specialists, known for a strategic and innovative approach and ability to achieve success in even the most complex of environments.
From a small surveying and planning business located in Samford in the outskirts of Brisbane, THG Resource Strategists grew into a flexible and creative consulting business, servicing the whole of Queensland. THG Resource Strategists became a part of Veris in 2015, adopting the Veris name in 2016.
Whelans
In 1920, Alexander Graham established a Perth based survey practice to serve the needs of public and private business sectors in the property and mining industries.
Demand for comprehensive land-related services grew and in 1983, Survey & Mapping Group Pty Ltd formed as an amalgamation of two leading Perth based companies. They joined the Australia-wide Whelans network in 1988.
The Western Australian services evolved from traditional surveying and mapping areas to include urban and regional planning, land asset management and 3D Spatial solutions. Whelans recently acquired WKC Spatial a specialist provider in pipeline construction projects across Australia as well as Surveying and Subsurface Solutions.
Whelans became part of Veris in October 2011, adopting the Veris name in 2016.
OTOC Australia
First formed as Ocean to Outback Electrical in 2003 by Adam Lamond. After a sustained period of hard work, change and tremendous growth, Ocean to Outback Contracting (OTOC) was established in 2008.
OTOC Australia evolved to become Aqura Technologies with the strategic focus by Veris on professional services, with a national growth strategy in Surveying, Town Planning and Urban Design.
Aqura Technologies
Aqura Technologies provides specialist information technology, communications, managed services, remote operations and consulting to clients across Australia and New Zealand, as well as providing support to Veris professional services business.
