Collins Arch

Cbus Property’s $1.25 billion Collins Arch development is a world-class mixed-use precinct spanning a 6,000-square-metre city block on Melbourne’s premier commercial and retail strip.

The precinct encompasses luxury residences, a five-star W Melbourne hotel, commercial office space, vibrant retail and dining offerings.

Veris provided Survey and Subdivision consultancy services to help deliver the hotel, commercial, retail and residential lots across three stages.

Scope

As the development’s Subdivision Surveyors, Veris provided the following services:

  • Title Re-establishment Survey.
  • Feature and Level Survey.
  • Subdivision pursuant to Section 37 Subdivision Act across three separate stages.
  • PCA Surveys for commercial and retail tenancies.

Highlights

  • Vesting of the public park to Council as Reserve was a difficult and involved process due to the structure above and below this area. The definition of the vertical boundaries on the Plan of Subdivision was quite complex and challenging.
  • Designed by internationally acclaimed SHoP Architects and Woods Bagot, the twin towers of Collins Arch are joined by an eight-level sky bridge, spanning 14 metres.
