Cross River Rail Tunnel Segments
Our metrology specialists were engaged on Brisbane’s Cross River Rail Project to provide advanced dimensional control and verification of tunnel segments and casting moulds.
Our expanded national metrology and reverse engineering consulting services now deploy Australia’s first Leica ATS600 Laser Tracker. We are able to provide our client with the highest standards of dimensional control as well as sub-millimetre metrology grade 3D scanning for this project.
When integrated with a high degree of automation our specialised approach provided the ability to analyse and identify dimensional conformance issues in real-time.
Veris’ bespoke monitoring output enables for faster communication on compliance and dimensions trends, eliminating costly rework and wastage. Our delivery considers OHS outcomes, offering minimum interactivity with the asset.
Veris were responsible for the following service delivery:
- Establishing nominal 3D baseline of segments and moulds.
- Develop automated measurement guidelines.
- Routine testing and validation.
- Full mould-set validation and conformance reports pre-production.
- Tolerance and Dimensional reporting of production segments.
- Random sample inspections.
- Segment trend analysis (desktop).
